Great food, great service and large portions!!

Food and atmosphere are good

It was good...kinda pricey for what you get...charged me a whole dollar for just a sprinkle of cheese on my salad but it was still good... everyone was nice!

The bartender was exhaustively talking trash about one of the "regulars" whom had a ridiculous tab because of the $8.00 shots. (not elaborate cocktails, but simple pour of Jack.) Filthy table tops There was no music, during the holidays. Overall depressing atmosphere, from the cheap facades, to the poor lighting. Less than a star

Great food! Good service!

I had a Philly steak and cheese sandwich and it was terrific! The bread was toasted and prepared perfectly. The only thing I'd change is to use fresh cut fries instead of frozen fries.

Service is always good. Food is consistently good. Today was the zorba chicken salad. Normally I get the gyro or pizza, both are excellent.

Food was good. I really like their gyro salad. Service was outstanding! The server remembered my preferred beverage from a previous visit, probably a month earlier.

I've enjoyed going to the place for years food is good service is good a nice balance between bar and family oriented.

Absolutely the most tender gyro I've had! The french fries were perfectly cooked. Mom got the chicken parmesan and finished the whole lunch portion. She never finishes. I had a bite and it was wonderful. Crunchy and flavorful. If I'm ever in Hartwell again, I'll have to stop by again.

Place is a little dark but the food is decent. Definitely check it out if you are in Hartwell looking for some hearty food

We'll, mark one place my family will not ever go to again!! Been eating in this place for over a year since we bought a house in Hartwell GA. Haven't had a bad experience yet!!! Tonight we go and it seemed to take an extended amount of time to get our pizzas. And when they brought them out I noticed to tops of both were burnt. The crust was HARD Burnt!! I simply asked the waitress to send back. The manager sent her back our to our table and said that's how we make them, if u want us to make another u will pay for both!!! Nope!!! Got up paid $8.53 for our drinks and order of bread and WALKED OUT!!! Melissa (The manager) 1st said sorry that's their policy.

It was great! The food was good. And the variety of dishes they serve made it easy to get everyone what they wanted. We had a four and a five year old with us so that's saying something. I'll definitely come back next time I visit the lake.

Love this place! Great food! Anything you try you'll love....my favorites are Italian stromboli with Greek fries ! I also love the zorba chicken and The baklava! You wont be disappointed!

Very consistant food quality and good prices

The food was amazing. Happy hour specials rock. Try the fried mushrooms, OMG. Amber is the best. My baby and I are making this a hump day habit.

Been coming here for some me time now. Food is good have not had a bad experience at all. Wait times tend to be long when the place is packed, I don't blame the place as when I'm out to eat dinner in not in a hurry. I'm there to relax and enjoy a drink or two....or three. The only reason I knock 1 star off is the decore. I feel that they could make the place more of a restaurant and less of a sports bar that is also a restaurant that also is like the inside of a Texas roadhouse that also is trying to be a olive garden. So I conclution... good food, good prices, good service, just a decore that is not dated but confused as to what it's trying to be.... check it out at least once and try if you have never been.

We've eaten here a few times. The service has always been friendly and the food good. However, on this last visit, I decided to try the scallops alfredo plate.I was amazed at how delicious this was. Big, fresh and meaty sea scallops as good or even better than most. This one plate alone would keep bringing me back.

Interesting decor for an Italian/Greek Restaurant. Okay service upon arrival, better service when we paid the check. Our stromboli were cooked perfectly, but could have used more cheese for sure.

Good food not too expensive and the waitress was very friendly. For two meals appetizer band two teas it was under 40.00 including a good tip. We will be going back.

I arrived to resturant at 8:20pm .I was seated with my party (it was New Years Eve). We received fair tasting food .my brothers entree was cold..They did warm it.No one followed up at our table .Suddenly I was given a bill not even totaled ,and at 9:20am they started mopping with fabulosa.What a ssmell.If they were closing early they should have said when we arrived.I never felt so rushed for poor food.When I went to pay I questioned no total amt,and was told the register is 30 years old.Avoid avoid avoid .

Food is very fresh-tasting. Greek chicken with rice pilaf was very good.

Great place for lunch and dinner. Evrything here is good. We went 3 days a week while I was in town working. Pizza, pasta, Greek.. You name it, its good. Friendly staff, good prices and really good food make this a favorite in Hartwell.

It was fine, my Stromboli was a bit over baked but tasted fine. The iced tea tasted bad but I think that's from the Hartwell water. Everything else was fine.

I love this place. Great atmosphere, quick and friendly service. The Greek chicken salad was awesome!

It's really a "hit or miss" as far as service goes. But the main thing to remember is the longevity of Downtown's success. I think they're going to make it (if you get my drift). I know some of you do. This is Hartwell. I think they've earned their tenure. But it just so happens I had killer service with a smile this time. And the bartender was off the chain! My martinis were SPOT ON. Perfect. So, this more than makes up for the one time we went and dad ordered the chicken fingers. They were out of honey mustard. I mean, who runs out of honey mustard when...? Just sayin'. See? So you take the bad with the good and you order a martini.

A local favorite. Friendly service fair prices. The zorba chicken salad is very good. Pizza is sometimes great and at other times just OK. They have been in business for a long time so they obviously are doing something right. We eat here often. Monday pizza night is a bargain and gets busy.

Pretty good Greek food.

This place has great food and on Tuesdays 99 cent budlight drafts! Hard to beat that combo! Try the stromboli, any of em!

Staff was friendly, food was good. we had 5 of us and the waitress forgot someone's salad but overall good. Greek fries were really good.
